The mismatched antique tables and chairs, the pretty decoration and the almost familial atmosphere lend this place a charming feel. The Swabian-style sour kidneys with sautéed potatoes have been on the menu here forever – a classic with its own loyal following. In addition, the menu includes contemporary dishes such as braised Ellscheid lemon chicken with Mediterranean vegetables. Most of the meat used by Florian Kucher and his team to create their seasonal regional fare comes from the Eifel area.
